The City of Streetsboro will host a Bicentennial Community Cookout on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 11am at the Streetsboro Fire Department. This event will coincide with the Bicentennial Historical Blast 5K & Fun Run and Time Capsule Burial.

A Historical Blast 5K and Fun Run will take place, just prior to the Community Cookout, at 9am, followed by a community cookout of Complimentary Hamburgers and Hot Dogs and the Bicentennial Birthday Cake, Bring your own chairs and enjoy refreshments along with a live DJ on-hand and other activities for the family.
The weekend celebration will be capped off with the historic “Big Picture”- a community wide Bicentennial group photo. 100 years ago in 1922, the early citizens of Streetsboro gathered for the Centennial celebration Labor Day weekend, at public square (RT 14 / RT 43). The group photo was to include all the citizens of Streetsboro with the Old Methodist Church as the backdrop.

In sticking to tradition, we would like to invite everyone from the city of Streetsboro to be a part of the next 100-year history in the “Big Picture.” (Scheduled for 1pm) The panoramic group photo will include all citizens with the New Fire Station as the backdrop.
