Historical Blast registration is online through this Website and through the Streetsboro Parks and Recreation Website. Cost of participation is $15.00 per participant for the one mile Fun Run and $30.00 per participant for the 5K.

Participants for the one mile Fun Run and the 5K will receive a Bicentennial Finisher Medal and a commemorative Historical Blast 5K and Fun Run t-shirt. Awards will also be presented to first and second place, males and females, in each age category for the 5K. Age categories include: 5-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

The race route will begin at the Streetsboro Fire Department Driveway. Participants will turn right on OH-43 and turn right onto Russell Drive. One mile participants will continue straight on Russell Drive to a check point and turn around and return to the Fire Department. 5K runners will proceed from Russell Drive left onto Dorothy Drive, left on Evergreen Drive, right on Ellen Drive, right on Pike Parkway, Right on Nita Lane, right on Crock Drive, left on Steffner Drive, right on Evergreen Drive, left on Mount Vernon Drive, crossing Luke Drive and making a right on Russell Drive and a left on OH-43 returning to the Fire Department.

Spectators are encouraged to cheer on participants throughout the race course. Parking available at the old city hall site, next to the Fire Department. Water stations will be provided. Everyone is welcome to join us for the Bicentennial Community Cookout (11:00am 'til 1PM) following the race, as well as "The Big Picture" community group photo (1:00pm) and the 2022 Bicentennial Time Capsule Burial (1:30pm). All September 17th events will be hosted at the Streetsboro Fire Department.
